Graduate Research Travel Grant
Spring 2020 Deadline March 15, 2020
Georgia College graduate students are encouraged to apply for Graduate Research Grants to support the costs (conference fee, travel, and accommodations) associated with the presentation of their own original scholarship at professional academic conferences.
Outstanding Graduate Assistant Awards
The Graduate School wants to recognize the outstanding contributions graduate assistants provide in supportive roles to students, faculty, staff, and the university as a whole while pursuing graduate studies. Six Outstanding Graduate Assistant Awards are presented in the spring of each year. Awards are presented at The Graduate School Spring Graduate Student Annual Awards Reception in celebration of Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week.
Award Package – $200 from the Georgia College Foundation, framed certificate, and a Georgia College lapel pin.

Graduate Research Poster Exhibit & Competition
The Graduate Research Poster Exhibit & Competition is an opportunity for graduate students to showcase their research endeavors to the campus community. The poster exhibit consists of a visual display of creativity and research findings. The special event is held in the spring of every year as part of Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week.
As part of the exhibit, The Graduate School will host an awards competition. Participating graduate students will demonstrate their engagement in high quality research or creative activity. The competition will provide students whose research is deemed outstanding and innovative with an opportunity to be evaluated by faculty judges and awarded prizes.
