The Graduate School hosts a variety of events throughout the academic year for current and prospective graduate students. Events are free and pre-registration is required for attendance. 

Virtual Admissions Information Sessions

Thursday, November 5, 2020 | 6:00-7:00pm | Virtual | Free

Graduate Admissions representatives will provide a one-hour in-depth overview of the graduate admissions application process, required documents, priority deadlines, best practices, tuition and fees, contact information, and answer attendee questions about enrolling at Georgia College. 

Registrants will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link and password to the online event.

Inaugural 2020 Milledgeville Writers Festival

The Milledgeville Writers Festival is open to the public worldwide! The Festival offers ten 50-minute creative writing workshops across genres and for all age groups--kids to adults (families are welcome to participate together!) GC MFA students in the Teaching Creative Writing Course will instruct and have designed their workshops according to their passions and expertise.

NURSE EDUCAtor MSN Program Information Session

Tuesday, November 17, 2020 | 5:00-6:00 p.m.| Virtual | Free

The Georgia College and State University Nurse Educator MSN program coordinator will provide a virtual overview of the nurse educator program.  The session will begin with general information about the admission process, discuss programs of study (both full and part time) and end with a brief overview of required courses.  An opportunity will be given to ask further questions. 

If you are interested in a career in nursing education, whether in a healthcare facility or academic setting, this program can help you achieve your goals.  Our program includes extensive content in simulation and technology use.  You will have the opportunity to learn to use simulators in our state of the art Simulation and Translational Research Center.

Midwifery and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program Information Sessions
