Director of Afterschool Achievement

Sequena Moon Stanton became the Director of Afterschool Achievement in 2019. Prior to the position, Mrs. Stanton served as Program Manager for the High Achievers Program since 2009.  As Director, Mrs. Stanton is responsible for managing the ongoing development of the both High Achievers and the YES program in respect to grant compliance, fiscal and staff management.

Credentials: Bachelors Business, Masters Public Administration, Educational Specialist (2018)

Program Coordinator

Deaje Taylor has worked with the Afterschool Achievement since 2017.  Ms. Taylor serves as an administrator as well as manages program implementation, and parent/family events.

Credentials: Bachelor's Psychology, Master’s Degree in Special Education. 

High Achievers Education Instructor

Maliyah Finney, a former High Achiever, supports the team by creating and developing programmatic activities. Ms. Finney also works with our local DFCS to coordinate/develop programs to support foster youth.

Credentials: Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree.

High Achievers Group Leader

Courtney Butts, a former High Achiever, and a current Georgia College student, supports the team with a wide range of projects related to educational activities; administrative duties; parent engagement; youth supervision and collaborating with external partnerships.
