Loading Zone Passes

Loading zone passes are required for all vehicles that will be unloading at buildings on August 8, August 14 and August 15.  Two loading zone passes will be sent in the Move-In Mailer.  Loading zone passes should be filled out prior to your arrival on campus.  Vehicles must be attended at all times while in the loading zone.  Vehicles will be permitted 20 minutes to unload, and then must move to long-term parking.

Download an additional loading zone pass.  Families are encouraged to bring as few vehicles as possible so that all families will be able to utilize the loading zones. Vehicles that are not unloading may proceed directly to long-term parking.

Move-In Mailer

The Move-In Mailer will be mailed to students' home address in mid-July (may take 5-7 days to arrive). Included in this piece is a packing list, two loading zone passes and other information you may find helpful when preparing to move to GCSU.

Parking

To avoid congestion, each vehicle wishing to enter a loading zone must have a Loading-Zone Pass.  Two passes will be included in your Move-In Mailer (which will be mailed out in late-July). If you are bringing additional vehicles, please contact University Housing for an additional Loading-Zone Pass (pdf) per vehicle. Fill in the Loading Zone Pass prior to arrival and have it available for the police officer as you drive in.

The loading zone pass is not a parking pass and is for unloading only.  Vehicles are to be moved immediately once uploaded.  Time in the loading zone is limited to 20 minutes and cars left parked in the loading zone after 12 p.m. will be towed at the owners expense.
