Georgia College is a liberal arts university and as such students in the Arts and the Sciences make significant contributions to society through mentored undergraduate research while personally growing intellectually. 

Many students work in the summer and often at a poor wage and at a job that adds little to no value to their education. MURACE gives students the opportunity to continue or start their research work while gaining important knowledge while earning a fair wage. ​

Many college students work in the summer and often at a poor wage and at a job that adds little to no value to their education. At Georgia College, student researchers and their mentors have the opportunity to apply for funding for a summer research opportunity. MURACE gives students the opportunity to continue or start their research work while gaining important knowledge and earning a fair wage. ​Students and their mentors from all disciplines are encouraged to apply summer research funding.

The summer undergraduate research funding is competitive. Applications for funding are double-blind reviewed. Do not miss this opportunity to participate in research and earn money, while contributing to your future.

Application Instructions

OPEN the summer research funding rubric (below) and review with your faculty mentor, then open the summer research funding application, tab through the application to fill it out, save a copy, print, get appropriate signatures, scan saving as a pdf once all required signatures are ​completed and send via email to urace@gcsu.edu prior to Noon, Monday, March 15, 2020
