KINS 6523. HEALTH COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL MARKETING. (3-0-3)
Prerequisite: KINS 6513. This course provides the student with an in-depth study of the application of health communication and social marketing to health promotion programs. It introduces the role of communication in behavior change; theoretical and practical content in persuasive approaches to change; factors in campaign development; and measurement of campaign impacts.
