HIST 4135. WOMEN IN THE ANCIENT AND MEDIEVAL WORLD. (3-0-3)
Prerequisite: HIST 3001. This course will survey the social, political, legal, economic, and religious roles of women in various western and non-western cultures from prehistory through 1500 C.E. Students will survey important historigraphical and other theses relating to women’s issues and methods for analyzing cross-disciplinary resources.
