HIST 4245. MODERN GERMANY. (3-0-3)
Prerequisite: HIST 1131 or 1132 and 3001. This course focuses on the emergence of a modern German nation-state, its role in World War One and the Holocaust, the impact of Germany’s postwar division and the Cold War, reasons behind German unification in 1990, and Germany’s role in today’s world.
