HIST 4285. INTELLECTUAL AND CULTURAL HISTORY OF EUROPE SINCE 1550. (3-0-3)
Prerequisite: HIST 1131 or 1132 and 3001. A survey of the major trends in philosophy, literature, social and political thought, and the arts in Europe from the Reformation to the present. Attention will be paid to the cross-cultural influences on European thought.
