MUAP 1130. APPLIED STUDY COMPOSITION. (0-0-1)
Prerequisite: Basic musical knowledge, including reading and writing clefs, scales, chords, rhythms, etc. Permission of the instructor. Introduction to basic compositional techniques and forms. Also includes detailed aesthetic discussion and development of critical thinking skills. This course is repeatable for credit.
