The Women's Center strives to create a warm, comfortable place for folks to come together. With educational resources through an extensive resource library and a quaint meeting space, all are welcome any time at the Women's Center located on the 2nd floor of the HUB located at 111 S. Clarke Street, Milledgeville, GA 31061. 

Lactation Spaces

The Women's Center oversees several lactation space locations on campus where mothers who breastfeed can come to either breastfeed or express milk. The lactation spaces are comfortable areas equipped with power outlets for pumps. For more information on accessing these spaces please contact Jennifer at (478) 445-8156.

Resource Library

The Women's Center has a resource library that contains a wide array of books relating to various women's issues. Books are free to check out and may be checked out for a two (2) week period. To check out books please see someone in the Women's Center to obtain a library card.

Individual Support

If you need help addressing issues related to power-based interpersonal violence (sexual assault and/or harassment, intimate partner violence, stalking) or issues such as discrimination or unplanned pregnancy we are here to help.

Note: The Staff of the Women's Center are mandatory reporters and have an obligation to report any possible violations of Title IX or ongoing child abuse. To learn more, please visit the Title IX website

Community Groups

Each semester the Women's Center offers a range of community building groups. Contact (478)445-8519 for more information about current community groups options.

Lounge & Study Area

The Women's Center features comfortable couches, a television and tables so that you can work on homework, have a meeting, take a break, or just relax. 

Trainings and Presentations

The Women’s Center offers a number of presentations, workshops, and trainings on a variety of topics. Our “Don’t Cancel That Class!” series offers professors the option of requesting a presentation during planned absences (for conferences, etc). Additionally, staff from the Women’s Center are available for presentations, workshops, and trainings to student groups on campus. Our BRAVE Peer Facilitators are available for presentations related to Bystander Intervention Education as well as Violence Prevention Workshops.
