Joining a student service organization is a great way to meet peers with similar interests, build your network outside the university, and practice your leadership. Students in service organizations attend organization-specific meetings, interact with local community leaders, volunteer at a non-profit or NGO, or facilitate fundraising and philanthropy events.
Many of the student organizations have a service and philanthropy mission. Consider exploring groups based on your specific interest, connected to your academic program, or through a fraternity or sorority organization.

What if I don't see an organization I am interested in?
If no group or organization exists that reflects your interest, we will help you create one! There are many more organizations added throughout the year and you can take a look at the full list by visiting GC Connect.

BRAVEHeart
BRAVEheart allows students the ability to take control of ending power-based interpersonal violence, sexual assault, rape and any other forms of perpetuated sexual violence that occur on college campuses
End It Movement
The End It Movement is an organization that brings light to the 40 million men, women, and children in human trafficking around the world today. Our mission is to raise awareness and fundraise for the End It Movement within Georgia College and the Milledgeville Community.
Miss Amazing
GA Miss Amazing is an advocacy program dedicated to encouraging the abilities of girls and women with disabilities. We work to nurture a sisterhood, amplifying participant voices, dispelling stereotypes, and more.
Students for Change
A new organization on campus that is focused on creating positive change in the community. They are working to refurbish Central State Hospital and create needed community resources.

ARF & Friends
Partnered with Milledgeville's Animal Rescue Foundation, our organization helps bring awareness and fundraising to the shelter.
Shelter Buddies
To help the Baldwin County Animal Shelter through in person volunteering, fundraising events and awareness events to assist the shelter with the issues they face with their high animal intake rate.

GC Miracle
GC Miracle is an organization that is dedicatd to saving children's lives. Everyone in the Miracle family works together to raise money to make miracles happen and prepare for Dance Marathon.
Girls Grow
Works hand in hand with the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, volunteering with girls who have been in abusive homes.

Creates opportunities for one-on-one friendships between Georgia College students and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the community of Milledgeville
Jumpstart
To provide meaningful community leisure activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to increase community awareness by partnering with college students
Environmental and Sustainability
Environmental Science club
Works to inform peers, improve environmental practices, and sponsor environmental affairs/events on and off campus.
Gardening Club
To volunteer at local gardens, serve the local community by offering educational opportunities

The Rally Foundation at Georgia College strives to raise public awareness and support for childhood cancer research
