You're invited to join us for Homecoming 2026! This year's theme is Ignite the Thunder: The Bobcat Games, where we will be celebrating Winter Olympic inspired fun all week long. Homecoming festivities kick-off on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026. From cheering on the Bobcats to announcing Homecoming Court, there will be a lot of fun and exciting activities for all ages to participate in.

GCSU Bobcat Games: Human Curling1:00 - 3:00 p.m.Front CampusCompete in a playful, campus-style version of curling that puts a fun twist on this Winter Olympic favorite. Teams and spectators welcome.

Tent City Tailgate11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.Centennial LotTent City is the official "Tailgating" event for the Homecoming Games and offers a place for everyone to gather in a convenient location. All Tent City participants must register in order to participate. The registration deadline is Friday, February 13. Tent City is an opportunity for current students, faculty, staff, and alumni to rent or bring a small personal tent as a part of the homecoming celebration. Groups may choose to grill or bring prepared food to serve their guests. Tailgating activities may begin at 11:30 a.m. at the tent locations and must conclude by 1:30 p.m. Tent rentals range from $350 to $850, with sizes ranging from 15'x15' to 30'x30', and all rentals will receive one or more tables plus chairs, depending on the size of your tent. Groups bringing a small personal tent will only be charged a $35 reservation fee. NO Glass Allowed.Sign Up for Tent City
Basketball Games1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.Centennial CenterCome cheer on the Bobcats as they take on GA Southwestern. The Homecoming Court will be announced during halftime of both games, with crowning of the King, Queen, Duke, and Duchess occurring at the end of the men's game.
