Brainstorming Sessions
Thank you to our students, faculty, staff, and other community stakeholders who are bringing our new strategic plan to life through engaging in the Imagine 2030 Table-Top Discussions.
Charge to the university
In February 2022 during her inaugural state of the university address, President Cox announced the beginning of a new strategic planning process. The process was envisioned to be inclusive, ambitious, and forward thinking with a charge to infuse innovation and creativity in all that we do. This new strategic plan will be a way to imagine how we deliver on our mission as the state’s designated public liberal arts university and to ensure that we are preparing students for successful careers and fulfilling lives.
The Strategic Planning Committee is comprised of broad representation from across the campus community to ensure that diverse perspectives can be incorporated. It was also tasked with ensuring that both internal and external university stakeholders would be engaged in order to make important contributions to the shape and direction of the overall strategic plan.
This website was created in order to provide information about the strategic plan, and to facilitate input from all stakeholders. The strategic planning committee would like to encourage all university stakeholders to get involved as this process unfolds and we collectively imagine how Georgia College can transform the lives of our students, faculty, staff, and the many communities that we impact.
