GCSU has a tradition that dates back to 1889, and what was once an all female Normal and Industrial institution is now Georgia's designated public liberal arts university. Dr. Sandra Goodwyn on "A White Liberal College President in the Jim Crow South"

Join us on October 6, 2021 at 6:00pm over Zoom to hear Dr. Sandra Goodwyn give a talk about her book A White Liberal College President in the Jim Crow South: Guy Herbert Wells and the YWCA at Georgia State College for Women, 1934-1953. Signed books will be available for purchase at Georgia's Old Governor's Mansion during operating hours in the days following the lecture! Death After Dark Tours:

Halloween time is slowly approaching, and so are our popular Death After Dark Tours! These specialty tours focus on the deathways of the 19th century and will be offered on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 7:00 and 8:00pm. They are intended for mature audiences and may not be suitable for young children.

In accordance with social distancing guidelines and safety protocols, tour sizes will be limited and advanced ticket purchases are required.
