The mission of the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships is to assist undergraduate and graduate students and their families reach their educational goals. Our office strives to provide relevant information regarding financial resources in a timely, efficient, and equitable manner while maintaining confidentiality of personal information and remaining in compliance with applicable federal, state and institutional policies.
Meet Our Staff
The Office of Financial Aid is located at 107 Parks Hall and office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our office staff strives to meet individual needs in a timely and efficient manner. Providing exceptional customer service is our first priority. Please utilize our staff to assist your family in early planning for all educational expenses. While Financial Aid Advisors are assigned to students based on their last name as specified below, any available advisor can assist you with your questions.
Please note, that our staff does their best to respond to emails in a timely manner. If you do not receive a response 2-3 business days, please call our office at (478) 445-5149 for assistance. During peak processing times such as June-August response times may be delayed.
Students can view their Financial Aid Status, Offers, and messages on their PAWS account by logging into My GCSU, click on the PAWS icon then Student Services, click on the Financial Aid icon to view all Financial Aid information.
