The mission of Georgia College Counseling Services is to enhance student success and promote a safe and healthy academic environment by attending to the psychological, emotional, and developmental wellbeing of students.
GC1Y courses are available to students who are currently in their first year at Georgia College and should be completed during one of the student's first two terms of enrollment.
GC2Y courses are available to sophomores at Georgia College. Students who fail to complete a GC2Y course as a sophomore will only be permitted to register for GC2Y sections in future semesters after sophomores have had an opportunity to register.
The Student Right-to-Know Act was enacted in 1990 by federal law. The law requires institutions that receive Title IV HEA student financial aid to collect, report and/or disclose graduation rates for full-time, first-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students and students receiving athletically related student aid.
