In addition to regular weekday and Saturday campus tours, Georgia College offers several organized visitation and/or open-house programs:

Virtual Transfer Student Social: July 10, 2020

Audience: Prospective transfer students
We are excited to host a virtual program designed specifically for our transfer students. Whether you are planning on applying to Georgia College or you’ve already been admitted and are planning to enroll, this program is for you! We will cover the application process and go over next steps.

Glimpse Weekend -  Postponed until further notice 

Audience:  Applied and Admitted minority students
This is an opportunity for students to learn first-hand about the minority student experience at Georgia College. It is open to high school seniors who have applied or been admitted to Georgia College for the Fall of 2020. Please visit the Glimpse Diversity Events links for more information and registration.

Fallfest - October 17, 2020

Audience:  Prospective high school seniors in Fall 2020 entering class
An exceptional opportunity for prospective students to discover the benefits of attending Georgia's public liberal arts university. Get a glimpse of what it will be like to be a GC student and have a chance to spend time with representatives from all major offices and departments on campus.

President's Scholarship Competition – December 4, 2020

Audience: Prospective Freshmen in Fall 2021 entering class
The PSC is a day-long competition that takes place at Georgia College, where students compete for more than $200,000 in undergraduate scholarships.  All applicants must submit their PSC Interest Form by Friday, November 8. Priority consideration is given to Early Action applicants.

Diversity Preview Day - TBD

Audience: Prospective high school juniors and seniors
Diversity Preview Day is the perfect opportunity to envision your future at Georgia College! During this visit, we will introduce you to student organizations and services especially committed to supporting and representing a diverse student body. Discover why Georgia College has among the highest African American and Hispanic retention and graduation rates in the state!

Honors Preview Day - TBD

Audience: Prospective high school seniors in Fall 2021 entering class
Honors Preview Day is a unique opportunity for talented students to experience the Honors College at Georgia College firsthand. At this program, students will be able to participate in classroom instructions, interact with current honors students, tour the honors residence hall and learn more about undergraduate research.

Junior Day -  February 29, 2020
Audience: Rising High School Seniors
A visitation day for rising high school seniors to learn the "ins and outs" of the college search process.  As you begin to explore different colleges and universities, as well as different majors, it is essential that you know how to make well-informed decisions. GC Junior Day will ease the anxiety and mystery about the college admissions process and help you to discover how to select which college is the right fit for you.

Springfest - March 7, 2020
Audience:  Accepted Freshmen
A great opportunity for students to confirm and celebrate their decision to attend GC.  Students who are still exploring their options regarding enrollment will discover the vitality and quality of Georgia's designated public liberal arts university.  This event provides opportunities for guests to explore interesting aspects of their intended major, enjoy conversations with current students and faculty, meet other members of Georgia College's incoming classes and get answers about financial aid, housing, athletics, academics, and student life.
