Web Communications is tasked with managing Georgia College’s online and digital content strategy for the homepage, official websites and social media platforms. The unit is responsible for aligning our digital and online brand with relevant visual identity standards and ensures quality control for the content that we publish.
Web Communications works with departments and offices across campus to determine specific audiences, objectives, layout and design. By combining information with images, photography, video and other forms of content, the web team improves the university’s overall web presence and enhances the overall web user experience.
The unit is also tasked with maintaining an increasingly vibrant social media presence through its network of platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn.
