GSFAPP temporarily unavailable

The GA Futures website will be unavailable from Dec. 4 to 7 due to a planned migration to Amazon Web Services. Students will not be able to submit GSFAPP applications for the HOPE Scholarship, Zell Miller Scholarship or other state programs during this period.

  • Students may still apply for federal aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov. The FAFSA also serves as an application for the HOPE and Zell Miller scholarships.
  • Students applying only for state scholarships such as REACH Georgia, the Georgia HERO Scholarship or the Public Safety Memorial Scholarship must wait until Dec. 8, when the site is restored.

REACH Georgia

REACH Georgia is a needs-based mentoring and scholarship program providing eligible students the support to graduate from high school and achieve a college education.  Qualifying REACH Scholars will be awarded a financial scholarship upon graduating from high school.

Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment is a program funded by the State of Georgia to assist high school students in paying for college-credit coursework.  Funding for Dual Enrollment covers only courses listed in the approved Dual Enrollment Course Directory which the student will receive dual credit for high school and college degree-level.

Georgia HERO Scholarship program

Georgia HERO Scholarship program provides educational scholarship assistance to members of the Georgia National Guard and U.S. Military Reservists who served in combat zones, and the children and the spouses of such members of the Georgia National Guard and U.S. Military Reserves. 

Public Safety Memorial Grant

The Georgia Public Safety Memorial (GPSM) Grant provides grant funds to the dependent children of Georgia Public Safety Officers who were permanently disabled or killed in the line of duty. Funds may be used towards the eligible student’s cost of attendance.
