Location: The Learning Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Library, across from the 3d Printing desk. The Math Emporium is located on the bottom floor of the Library, down the hall from the Books and Brew.
Mission: The mission of the GCSU Learning Center is to provide academic support in mathematics, physics, economics, kinesiology, and science courses throughout the core curriculum.

Biography
Jeanne has worked in higher education and academic support for the past ten years. Earlier work provided a wide variety of educational and managerial settings including non-profit work, homeschooling, running a private school, and directing a camp. One common denominator to her experiences has been to challenge and help young adults succeed and continuously grow their proficiencies and skill set. Ms. Haslam has been active with the John Gardner Institute as the Campus Liaison and the USG STEM initiatives. She is currently serving as a Sector Lead for State Universities and as Co-PI for GC’s current STEM IV grant.

Rebecca Cofer has worked in higher education learning centers since her time at The Writing Center at Virginia Tech in 2004. Since then, she has worked as the tutor coordinator for Texas Tech's TECHniques Center and at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College's Academic Achievement Center, and now serves as the Assistant Director at the Learning Center. Cofer's experience also includes work as an academic advisor for majors like undecided and pre-nursing. Regardless of her role, Rebecca's passion lies in helping students succeed in higher ed and beyond, however they view success. She also serves in multiple leadership roles for the College Reading & Learning Association and the Georgia Tutoring Association.

Tori acquired her bachelor's degree in environmental science, here at Georgia College. She is pursuing a graduate degree in biology and currently serve as one of two GAs in the Learning Center. Addtionally, Tori is currently doing research in Dr. S. Mutiti's lab as a way to accomplish her thesis project.
