The Audio Production Certificate is an interdisciplinary certificate between the Georgia College & State University Department of Communication and the Department of Music.
This five-course certificate program is designed for individuals who want a practical foundation in audio production. Students explore the basics of radio broadcasting, podcasting, acoustics, sound editing and design, mixing, recording, and apply this knowledge with the creation of quality audio projects at a professional level. This knowledge is deepened with hands-on work with studio hardware and various audio workstation applications. The certificate will prepare students for professional work in broadcasting, digital media and studio recording.
