2023-2024 President's Highlights

President Cathy Cox

Colleagues,

We put the liberal arts to work at Georgia College & State University (GCSU). As the home of liberal arts in the 26-institution University System of Georgia, we have a history of providing unique transformative learning experiences for our students.

The foundational principles of the liberal arts – critical thinking, problem solving, communication and research skills – prepare our students for their post-graduate experience, whether that’s making an immediate impact on the workforce or continuing their education in top-level graduate programs.

Interest in the GCSU experience is stronger than ever, evidenced by two years of record-high applications. I hope you enjoy this collection of recent highlights that illustrate what makes GCSU such a special place for our students.

Sincerely,

Cathy Cox, J.D.

President, Georgia College & State University
