Our purpose is to improve the health of the residents of Central Georgia through collaborative campus/community partnerships to provide research and education concerning contemporary health problems and social issues.
The Martha Daniel Newell Visiting Scholar program was established in 2011 with an endowment from Georgia College alumna, Mrs. Martha Daniel Newell.
The cohorted undergraduate and graduate programs at Georgia College have commendable reputations within and outside of the state of Georgia such as the Regents’ Teaching Excellence Award and the Christa McAuliffe Excellence in Teacher Education Award.
As a student in the undergraduate Elementary Education program, you will be prepared to address the human relations and diversity within the public schools.
The BS in Middle Grades Education program consists of extensive field-based learning and integrated, cross-disciplinary course work.
