Vaccine Information

We are partnering with the Baldwin County Health Department, located at 100 Ireland Drive directly across from the local hospital.  They are providing a vaccine drive-thru clinic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon as well as between 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary during those times.  This can be for a primary vaccination or a booster vaccination. Additional vaccines are also available at local pharmacies in and around the Milledgeville area.

Please call Student Health if you need further information on local sites for vaccination.

Visit the COVID-19 Vaccination website for more information regarding the Department of Public Health vaccine sites and more.

Testing Information

COVID-19 testing is available to all symptomatic students daily at Student Health Services.  If you have any Covid-like symptoms, please call us for an appointment at 478-445-5288 or schedule on-line.

If you have been exposed to a positive Covid case, but do not have symptoms, we will test you on day 5, per CDC guidelines for testing after exposure.  You may call or schedule an appointment on-line.

Anyone experiencing emergencies should seek help immediately by calling 911 or Georgia College Public Safety at 478-445-4400.

ISOLATION Guidelines

Student Health Services follows the current CDC guidelines in regards to isolation. All students who test positive for Covid-19 must isolate at home.  Georgia College does not provide isolation in place. Please notify Student Health Services of your positive case.  This will ensure that the Dean of Students will notify you and your professors of your return to campus date.  For more information please visit the CDC Quarantine and Isolation page .
