Student Health Services is located on the first floor of the Wellness and Recreation Center at West Campus. The main entrance to SHS is through the side doors located near the softball field. The Bobcat ID card is required to utilize services in the clinic. Limited parking is available at the main clinic entrance and a parking pass can be obtained at the registration desk. Students should bring their insurance card to every clinic visit.
We plan on conducting telemedicine to provide students care in a socially distant manner. Those initial conversations will allow us to virtually assess the student and decide if they do need a face to face appointment.
If any of our students feel the need to visit our clinic in-person, please call to speak to a Student Health staff member. Appointments will be scheduled by Student Health staff only. For now, online appointment self-scheduling is suspended.
Monday- Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The clinic is closed on weekends.
Students are seen in the clinic by appointment. The Bobcat ID and insurance cards are to be presented at every visit and the Bobcat ID card is necessary to access the electronic medical record. If a student does not have a Bobcat ID card they can get a replacement card at the Bobcat ID office in MSU. The Health Fee must be paid each semester in order to use the facilities. When registered for the current semester the Health Fee is automatically included in registration charges. If not enrolled for May, June and/or July or are taking online classes, these students now have the option of paying a reduced Health Fee of $50 for use of the Student Health Clinic and the Wellness and Recreation Center during May and Summer semesters.
Limited first aid services are given to employees. An injury of any significance will require the employee to complete an accident form and he/she must be seen by a physician on the Worker’s Compensation Panel. Flu shots are provided for employees for a fee.
