Students in the Dance minor program will experience various dance styles through rehearsals and performances. In the program, you’ll take courses such as dance history and composition, which will round out your understanding and appreciation of this art form.
Many students take the opportunity to be part of Chi Tau Epsilon, a dance honorary that promotes dance scholarship. Georgia College is the fifth chapter nationwide. To participate, students must be a dance major or minor and have a 3.0 GPA.
The goal of the program is to promote dance on campus and in the community through informal concerts, charity events such events at the Georgia War Veteran’s Home and to enable, educate and empower you to go out in the world and help others through the art of dance.
