Parent to Parent Advice
After move-in, we asked parents what advice they would give to the next groups moving in to University Housing. Check out the parent to parent advice (pdf) they provided.

To avoid congestion, each vehicle wishing to enter a loading zone must have a Loading-Zone Pass.  2 passes will be included in your Move-In Mailer (which will be mailed out on July 22). If you are bringing additional vehicles, please contact University Housing for an additional Loading-Zone Pass (pdf) per vehicle. Fill in the Loading Zone Pass prior to arrival and have it available for the police officer as you drive in. Time in the loading zone is limited to 20 minutes. Cars left parked in the loading zone after 2 p.m. may be towed at the owners expense.

Renters Insurance
University Housing cannot cover the loss or damage to student property. Prior to arrival, please consult your homeowner's policy or secure personal property insurance. For more information on personal property insurance, visit the GradGuard web site.

Roommate Agreement
The Roommate Agreement can help suitemates work out what is considered acceptable for suite. Items covered including cleaning schedules, guest preferences and establishing when it is and isn't okay to borrow items from each other. It's a good idea for roommates and suitemates to review this agreement prior to arrival at GC.
