During orientation, you will have the opportunity to speak with faculty, staff, current GCSU students, and other incoming students. In addition to these connections, you will hear from individuals who represent a wide array of life on campus—such as Academic Advising, University Housing, Public Safety, Fraternity & Sorority Life, and everything in between. While on campus, you will also take care of important next steps like picking up your Bobcat Card, parking pass, and visiting the campus bookstore.

Note: You must log in to your application portal to register for Orientation. If you do not remember your login credentials, you can reset your password or contact the Office of Admissions.

Registration fee is $80 per student and $25 per guest.

More information will be sent out to the email address listed on the registration form prior to the event.

Spring Orientation

Spring Orientation is a structured program that offers new students and transfer students the opportunity to establish a link with faculty in their intended major, become familiar with the campus and the array of academic and campus life programs available and "take care of business" to prepare for move-in.
